ANOTHER INADVISABLE ESB AT THE PARCEL YARD

We headed back along Oxford Street into Fitzrovia and back to King’s Cross, cheered by an afternoon of London discovery, ticking and culture.

London’s main shopping street seems to consist entirely of “Candy” stores.

But there’s beauty, everywhere.

Amorino ices on Goodge Street was a joy, too. I reckon James deserved 3 scoops after letting me do 3 ticks.

Almost worth visiting for this tremendous sculpture of BRAPA being comforted after an inadvisable 7th pint (ESB) after his latest London adventure.

Speaking of which, we were making such good progress I thought I had time for a final pint in one of the capital’s ornate ale houses.

But instead ended up at the Parcel Yard, on the sound basis that I’d need a comfort break before catching the train so might as well have a beer close to King’s Cross’s unofficial (free) loos.

Look Si ! It’s the one you’ve missed.

I never quite see the appeal of the Parcel Yard, but this was a marvellously flat drop of Fuller’s finest to end the night.

The only problem is, I still have 15 left to do in London. A £6.98 a pint, what will I need to sell to afford those ?
