Thanks for posting, RM. I enjoyed Evo’s blog, but there doesn’t seem to be a comments facility, so I couldn’t tell him myself.
When he was looking for a pub with Mustard in the name he found one in Sale but it wasn’t open. I’ve now marked it as closed on Pubs Galore (it went away between January ’21 and October ’23). He could have gone to the Mustard Pot in Leeds, but it had closed for refurbishment in August, exactly when he wanted to visit. This is why he ended up with you at the Old Mustard Pot at Midhopestones.
