December 2023. Sheffield.
The weather up in Sheffield isn’t much different to the weather in Waterbeach. 9 degrees in the south with light rain, 8 degrees and sunny intervals oop north. You pays your money.
Some gorgeous sunsets last weekend over Sheffield, and Mrs RM got the killer shot (top).
We took the classic Walkley to Hillsborough route via the Blind Monkey and the allotments,
and the allotments,
where sharp-eyed Mrs RM spotted the Christmas hat on what I think is a bird but I’m no twitcher.
And then to Hillsborough’s Spoons, where the Loxley runs down to meet the Don.
Those red skies lit up the Etihad the next afternoon, where just for once the clicking camera weren’t focused on Haaland.
That sunset was the best thing by far about City’s annual capitulation to Crystal Palace.
