More from my massive July West Country Tickathon, and some prime Dylan for you;
Possibly US Dave’s favourite Dylan, though personally I prefer the cover version by The Wiggles.
Man had to give names to the animals as nearly all of the pubs in Gillingham (Dorset) are named after them;

I was only in the Buffalo the other year, drinking Fursty Ferret by Badger. Or was Busty Buffalo by Ferret ?
Gillingham is an odd town, not too far from my End of the Road and Shaftesbury, combining a scruffy high street with a Waitrose.

On the walk out to the suburb of Peacemarsh I forgot what the pub was called three times, having to look at a scrap of paper that said “Dolphin. It’s DOLPHIN, you idiot, not Phoenix“.
The Dolphin has a nice sign, but a dull dining interior, so I’ve nicked this photo off their website. One day, all self-drive electric cars will look like this.

In 2022, one beer is plenty. Often more than enough.

No, it really is. The Exmoor was a cool, rich 3.5.
They wanted to show me to a table. I said I’d sit outside.
“But it’s raining“
“I’ll be fine”
“There’s a dedicated smoking area in the upper garden*”.

I’ll be fine.
*I nearly asked if there was a designated beer tipping area in the garden, but the beer was great.
If you had asked me if that song had ever been covered by anyone, I would have given an emphatic no. Wow, that’s a trivia question for you.
