THE ☀ AND THE ☔

More real time blogging, as I visit Waterbeach as the local team sits on the verge of promotion at half time.

I’d probably have been up the Abbey Stadium now, asking the bloke in the Habbin “Who’s that No. 9?” and “What colours are we.”

But football is being played without fans, which is #pointless, and you can’t sit inside and watch it in The Sun, so I’m chatting to Mrs RM about my mum and the particular appeal of this classic Fens local.

I didn’t even know there was a garden, quite a decent one.

I did know this remains a haven of BBB, and a choice of Wherry, Landlord and Pride is all you need.

Apart from the internet so you can follow the football. Which I can’t.

So I’ll leave you with the lacings and say “Up the U’s” and leave you to worry about apostrophes.

      1. You really are a jinx! The mere mention of moving to Paisley and St Mirren get knocked out of the Scottish Cup! May I suggest a move to Chester?

  1. Well done to the U’s. Had I been able to go this season, I’d be rather more annoyed with our 2 month long slump to mediocrity. Hopefully I’ll be at the play off first leg anyway.

It doesn’t get more exciting than that. 😉

“and you can’t sit inside and watch it in The Sun,”

Technically, if you were in The Sun, wouldn’t that be similar to being in the sun thus count as being outside?

“I didn’t even know there was a garden, quite a decent one.”

They could put the telly in that wardrobe thingy at the back.

It’s not allowed or you’ve forgotten the password?

Can’t be bothered about apostrophes right now; I need a quick lie down after the lacings. 🙂

    Cheers

      1. I hear ya. My darling wife just set off by vehicle from Whitehorse, Yukon to Smithers, BC. About 14 1/2 hours of driving and at least 11 hours of that will be without any cell coverage at all, let alone WiFi!
