We’re on the road again, exploring beer gardens in our campervan. Someone is pleased.
As ever, the important thing is to keep the milk bottle with DIPA separate from the milk bottle for wee.
One other downside of this “On the Road” life is that I have to do these posts on the phone, never ideal.
A bit like doing Sheffield pubs in a pandemic.
ALL THE PUBS IN SHEFFIELD ON FOOT No. 5 – The Pangolin is highly controversial, not least for being the only Hillsborough pub NOT called “something Monkey” .
An off-licence that’ll activate the on-licence in May, we hope, it only opened on Wednesday, and I joined the queue of crafty Sheffielders (Where’s Will?) while Mrs RM explored B & M bargains.
ANOTHER Sheffield beer shop!
Yes, but Wednesday fans deserve good beer after their traumatic season, and it’s great to see new businesses open during a pandemic. The future is bright, particularly with St Mars of the Desert cans back.
3 hours in the Pangolin was already on a 3rd restocking of shelves, but they’d saved me, I mean Mrs RM, some of those 9% barley wines we like.
And if nothing else those milk bottles filled with lovely Abbeydale DIPA will come in handy in the campervan.
Oh, Mrs RM got a 6.5% bottle Wickwar of milk stout for a £1.60 from B & M Bargains. Life is sweet.
