A rare post-GBG completion venture in bucolic but boring Bucks, and a first central Milton Keynes mission since (astonishingly) 2018.

An Ember Inn then, and a Brewhouse & Kitchen and Spoons before that.

Chains in the centre, brewery taps and craft bars in the villages.

Wolverton, like New Bradwell next door, is a village town based on railways, and it’s from the station that the ticker will attempt, and fail to find MK Biergarten.

If you reach the canal boat, you’ve come too far.

Oooh, we tickers love a challenge.

If you find yourself at Green Law Solicitors, you’ve come too far, but not by much.

A scruffy approach to a pleasant and friendly microbar,

The lads are drinking lager and craft cans, the crafty keg entices,

but I feel obliged to try the cask Utopian which is cool and tasty (NBSS 3) but would be better in a straight.

The soundtrack is eclectic, Hulk Hogan’s theme only making sense when I see the news later.

How has it taken so long to see this place in the Guide ?
