Oh, go on then. Cobbetts was closed on Sunday night, so all Dorking really has to offer is the Cricketers, the GBG Fullers perennial and one of the great Surrey pubs.
Particularly good this Sunday night, as blokes (it is mainly blokes) come to discuss ailments, and by ailments I don’t mean low NBSS scores.
Lovely staff, and £5.10 your unwise ESB, a cool, chewy 3.5.
“Pump up the jam“ by Technotronic your unlikely slice of 1990 electropop, but the entertainment is all from the interaction between barmaid and locals.

Well, it is touching 16 degrees for the first time this year.
It’s a jolly place, a safe place to unwind before Monday,
even when the conversation turns to bladder concerns. Too much information!
Time to drink up, nip in the shop specialising in Eastern European crisps, and make Mrs RM happy.

Oh, yes! I was in there 10 years ago and I am pleased to see that is still unchanged. Dorking looks like a nice place to live. I should make an effort to visit again.
