January 2024. Buckingham.
Our target pub was the Grand Junction,

a smart new addition to the Buckingham pub scene.

OK London Pride and Gales Seafarers won’t get you in the Beer Guide most places,

but the Pride was drinking well in the Grand Junction, so well that I stayed for a second pint and did my blog.

Mrs RM had a Lucky Saint, the king of non alcoholic beers.
A millennial chap occupying the seat to our left, the seat with those crucial charging points behind him, finished his Lucky Saint and left.

Or so we thought. 10 minutes later, he returned, looking miffed we’d nicked his seat, with a SECOND pint of Saint.
Who drinks TWO (2) pints of non alcoholic fizz ?
I apologise for this post. Am in Stockton Spoons and completely pissed.

I assumed you are pissed when writing and publishing all your posts. Bit disappointed now.

It’s very much a scale, Rhys. The next commentator is VERY disappointed by my central London picks,

It was the Grand Junction Railway that brought trains to Stafford very soon after Queen Victoria’s coronation.
