After that traumatic surgical procedure I needed a beer. Mrs RM needed to join a meeting about account codes.
So I took the Mersey line for an increasingly rare new GBG tick across the water.
Nothing much new in Birkenhead by the look of it, but New Brighton looked transformed since I spent my 55th birthday sobbing to “When a child is born” in Wallasey.
Where has all the street art come from ?
Mermaids I vaguely remember, the politics is new and startling.
So much colour along Victoria Road, clearly all post- COVID.
I was startled by Blackpool’s graffiti scene recently. This is even better.
And how does New Brighton promote itself ? With a famous Bass pub by the river, obviously.
