MARCHING MRS RM TO BRID OLD TOWN

Having completed East Yorkshire GBG, we could now focus on tea.

Mrs RM had turned down chips in favour of Suppatra Thai on the edge of town. Sadly, Spam WASN’T available.

Unfortunately, so had the rest of “Abigail’s Party” Bridlington, and we were sent on our way for daring not to book 3 weeks ago.

I’d told Mrs RM we HAD to go to see Brid Old Town, and to her credit she ignored her hunger pains (we’d only had 2 packets of crisps in the Stackhouse) and walked the 0.73 miles to the 18th Wonder of the World, admiring the increasingly astonishing architecture as the weather turned nasty.

What on earth is this place on the B1423 where they build their own cars ?

The skies above us looked ominous, even for the righteous among us,

but as we entered the High Street, Mrs RM experienced the same “Wow” moment I had 2 years previously.

But where would we eat ? I favoured a curry, Mrs RM had loftier ambitions. We retired to the Board to argue about it.
